Open-air Used Bookstore Man, 1990
Back in the 1980s I had occasion to drive through Fredericton, New Brunswick, several times. Each time I noticed this open-air bookstore on the highway outside of town to the east, but I was always in too much of a hurry to stop. I finally did one day in 1990. The proprietors were this man and his bookish son. I asked if they would pose for a few photos and they said they would. I regret that I didn't make a note of their names, or the name of their shop. I doubt it's still there. Another image from that day appeared on the Monday Morning Photo Blog back in 2007.
